McKayla Forsberg, LICSW

I am a social worker who has been independently licensed since 2021. I have experience working in schools, primary care, and community mental health. I have worked with a variety of mental health concerns in individuals ranging in development from infancy to geriatric stages. I specialize in children and families, trauma, anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship issues, parenting supports for neurodivergent children, and other aspects of neurodivergence. I believe in building a collaborative relationship with my clients and helping them utilize their personal strengths to meet their goals and live authentically. I believe that life challenges are ultimately an opportunity for growth and resilience. I use a variety of skills when working with individuals, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. I am currently licensed in both Washington and Oregon.
