Kaitlyn Wilder, LSWAIC

I am passionate about working in partnership with my clients utilizing a strengths-based perspective. It is important to me to empower my clients in their treatment by honoring their expertise over their lives and working with them to utilize the many strengths they already possess while also helping them build on these strengths. My work so far has focused around trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder.

Individuals often seek therapy during some of the most difficult times in their lives. No matter what is bringing someone into services, this can be an intimidating step to take. It is my goal to ensure that I provide an environment where my clients feel safe, supported, and listened to. I consider it an honor to join my clients on their journey to reaching their goals.

I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy, as we are all unique individuals with unique needs. Instead, I work with each individual to create an approach that works best for them. I often utilize skills from different treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I have a Master’s in Social Work, and am working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) under the supervision of Brad Bastian, LCSW; Carolyn Stern, PhD; and Lisa Martin, PhD.
