Joel LeMaire, LMHCA, LMFTA

As a counselor (LMHCA, LMFTA), my goal is to create a safe space where individuals, couples, and families can work through life’s challenges, heal from painful experiences, and grow into greater wholeness. I want each person I work with to feel seen, heard, and valued – welcomed just as they are, without judgment. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and eclectic, shaped by being fully present with each client, meeting them where they are, and offering practical, empowering support for change.

I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, poor self-esteem, relationship struggles, trauma, porn addiction, and burnout. I draw from a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness/self-compassion.

It is an honor to walk alongside others in their stories and support them in taking meaningful steps toward healing and hope.

I practice under the supervision of Dr. Carolyn Stern.
