I (she/her/hers) am a licensed (LMHC in WA and IA; LPC in TX) and board-certified counselor (NCC), and a board-certified telemental health provider (BC-TMH). In addition, I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy. I have worked as a licensed and board-certified counselor since 2011. My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices and is grounded in the belief that counseling is a collaborative process. I value diversity and inclusivity and work to be a culturally sensitive and responsive therapist. With compassion and understanding, I work with my clients to help them build upon their strengths, gain deeper insights, learn, and attain the growth they desire. My areas of expertise include affirmative counseling for LGBTQIA+ (youth and adults), family conflict, and couple’s issues. My particular areas of specialty include trans and gender diverse adolescents, family and parenting issues, and couples therapy. I work with clients to address issues related to gender identity, marital conflict, divorce, depression, anxiety and more.
