Jennifer Kassing, LMHC

Jennifer Kassing (she/her/hers) is a licensed (LMHC in WA and IA; LPC in TX) and board-certified counselor (NCC), and a board-certified telemental health provider (BC-TMH). In addition, she has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy. Jennifer has worked as a licensed and board-certified counselor since 2011. Her approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices and is grounded in the belief that counseling is a collaborative process. Jennifer values diversity and inclusivity and works to be a culturally sensitive and responsive therapist. With compassion and understanding, Jennifer works with her clients to help them build upon their strengths, gain deeper insights, learn, and attain the growth they desire. Her areas of expertise include affirmative counseling for LGBTQIA+ (youth and adults), family conflict, and couple’s issues. Her particular areas of specialty include trans and gender diverse adolescents, family and parenting issues, and couples therapy. She works with clients to address issues related to gender identity, marital conflict, divorce, depression, anxiety and more.
