Isaac Overmiller, LMHC

I am a licensed therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults since 2013. I work with people who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about themselves and wanting to understand why they think, feel, or react the way they do. I enjoy helping clients slow things down, notice patterns, and discover new insights about themselves; often in ways that feel clarifying, relieving, or unexpectedly meaningful. I enjoy working with trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, or depression.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, curious, and largely non-directive. Sessions tend to feel more like a thoughtful conversation than a checklist or lecture. I’m interested in understanding your perspective and helping you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels authentic to you. When it’s useful, I’m also comfortable being direct, especially when something important needs to be named or explored more honestly. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor my work to each individual, with the goal of creating a space that feels supportive, grounded, and real enough for meaningful change to take place.
